Abstract:
In order to obtain the influence of friction coefficient on the compression mechanical behavior of tread material,quasi-static uniaxial compression experiments were performed and the compression behavior of tread material under different friction coefficient was studied by using finite element analysis software ABAQUS. The results showed that, the uniaxial compression modulus of tread material increased with the increase of friction coefficient. The expansion radius of the rubber sample on the surface decreased with the increase of friction coefficient, while the expansion radius for the neutral faces increased at first and then decreased, and the contact force reached the maximum value around friction coefficient of 0. 4.
