Abstract: |
Conductive carbon black/eucommia ulmoides gum(CCB/EUG) composites were prepared by mechanical blending. The effects of CCB contents on the electrical conductivity and electromagnetic shielding properties of CCB/EUG composites were investigated. The results showed that the electrical conductivity of CCB/EUG composites was increased with the increasing of CCB content, and reached 3.3S/cm when 25phr CCB was loaded. The electrical conductivity well agrees with the conductivity percolation behavior. The Payne effect of CCB/EUG composites was larger and larger with the increasing CCB content, which leaded to forming a complete conductivity network. The tensile strength and elongation at break increased at first and then decreased slightly with the increasing CCB content. The electromagnetic interference shielding effectiveness of CCB/EUG composites was increased with the increasing of CCB content, and reached 33.2dB when 20phr CCB was loaded, which could meet the requirements of electronic equipments for the common industry and business. |
