Abstract: |
The numerical models of cruciform rubber specimens for equi-biaxial tension were established and analyzed by Abaqus finite element analysis software. The results showed that the deformation state of the region of interest(ROI) was affected by the geometry of cruciform rubber specimens and only the center point of the specimen could exhibit the perfectly equi-biaxiality.The nominal stress-stretch curve calculated by finite element method of type A was complete agreement with the exact solution obtained using the Ogden model. Compared with the other types of cruciform rubber specimens, type A exhibited the most degree of uniformity of stress and strain field, the high strain level and the most close to the perfectly equi-biaxial state in the ROI. |
