Abstract:
The effects of natural flake graphite (FG) on the vulcanization characteristics, mechanical properties and damping properties of NR/NBR damping material were studied. The results showed that with the FG content increased from 0 phr to 15 phr, ML, MH and MH-ML increased, ts1and tc90 had no obviously change. The tensile strength and the tear strength increased first and then decreased, reaching the maximum with FG amount 10 phr, the modulus at 100% and 300% and the hardness increased significantly, while the elongation at break and the rebound resilience decreased. The hysteresis energy density (HED) and the damping coefficient increased. DMA showed that the tanδmax1 value of NR phase decreased, while the tanδmax2 value of NBR phase increased, and the loss modulus (E’’) increased obviously.
