| Abstract: |
| the wet skid resistance and rolling resistance of rubber tire could be improved using starch as reinforcing filler to replace part of carbon black or white carbon black. Starch was expected to become the new rubber reinforcing filler for its advantages such as wide source, low cost, non-pollution.But the reinforcing effect was poor through the direct blending of starch and rubber for the strong polarity of starch and the poor compatibility between starch and rubber.This paper introduced the nano-miniaturization, esterification, graft modification and in-situ modification of starch. The dispersion of starch in rubber and its compatibility with rubber could be improved by reducing the starch particle size and the introduction of other molecules or groups ,and starch could be the quality reinforcing filler of rubber tire. |
