Abstract: |
The effects of tackifying resin on the adhesion and interfacial fatigue properties of resorcinol-formaldehyde-latex(RFL) dipped continuous basalt fiber(CBF) cords to rubber matrix were investigated. The results showed that, with the addition of tackifying resin, the tensile strength and modulus decreased, elongation at break increased. The static adhesion between rubber and CBF cords improved when R/F=1/2.5.The interface fatigue life of RFL system dipped CBF cords to rubber matrix increased significantly. |
