Abstract:
The foam material was prepared by using azobisformamide (AC) as foaming agent and using butyl rubber as the matrix. The effects of foaming time, foaming temperature and amount of foaming agent on damping performance and sound absorption performance of the foam material were studied. The results show that the foam material with 165℃×30min foaming process has the best damping performance and the foam material with 160℃×50min foaming process has the best sound absorption performance. With the addition of AC foaming agent, the damping performance and sound absorption performance of the foam material were improved significantly. With the addition of a little foaming agent, the foam material shows good damping performance. With the addition of 6phr foaming agent, the foam material shows good sound absorption performance, the bubble holes were small and dense, and most bubble holes are closed pore structures.
