Abstract: |
The physical properties and electrical conductivity of carbon fiber/carbon black/nitrile butadiene rubber composite were investigated. The results showed that with the increasing of the additional level of carbon fiber, the hardness and tear strength of the composites increased, the tensile strength, modulus and elongation at break increased at first and then decreased. The electrical conductivity of the composite improved obviously by using carbon fiber. The carbon fiber length had little effect on the electrical conductivity, and the carbon fiber treated by concentrated nitric acid was more closely bonded with the matrix. |
