Abstract: |
Based on the developed device for testing sealing contact characteristics,a typical door rubber seal was used to study the effect of different diameters surface defects on the contact characteristic of the sealing interface surface. The results showed that the defect diameter had great effect on the contact area and average contact pressure, when the defect diameter increased, the contact area decreased, and the average contact pressure slightly increased.Defect diameter effects the contact performance in the surrounding area of the defect, when the defect diameter increased, the contact performance decreased;the surface defects had significant effects on the sealing performance. |
