| Abstract: |
| In the present work, the influence factors of the rubber-to-metal bonding properties were studied using the standard samples, as the process of metal surface treatment, the type of bonding agents and the vulcanization process. Then, the test results were applied to the rubber bearings. The failure mode of the rubber bearings with the new production process achieved 100%R. The problem of the debonding between rubber and metal was resolved. The bonding properties and the durability of the rubber bearings were improved. |
