Abstract: |
The effects of CM and HDPE on the properties of reclaimed rubber from tread rubber powder were investigated. The results showed that, with the addition level of CM increasing, the Mooney viscosity of reclaimed rubber decreased, and with the addition level of HDPE increasing, the Mooney viscosity of reclaimed rubber increased. With the addition level of CM or HDPE increasing, the crosslink density and tensile strength increased, and the elongation at break increased at first and then decreased. The tensile fracture of reclaimed rubber filled with CM was relatively smooth and more uniform, and the optimized addition level of CM was 8 phr. |
