Abstract:
      Carbon black and silica filled NR with different curing systems were prepared. The relationship between static and dynamic properties, and cross-linking structure resulting from different curing systems was studied. Also, the influence of different filler types on the above relationship was investigated. The result showed that NR composites with CV system had higher crosslinking density and better performance on tensile strength and abrasion resistance, compared with other curing systems. For the dynamic properties, the silica-reinforced NR with CV system had lower rolling resistance and better abrasion resistance. For CB-reinforced NR with EC system had lower rolling resistance. The improvement of tensile strength is beneficial to the abrasion resistance.
