Abstract: |
The cone ring sliding plate mold set to locking mold in the mold closing action, If the sliding plate was worn too much, the mold’s locking force would be less than requirement or even disappears, which would cause gaps between segment and sidewall plate or between segment and segment. Then rubber edge would appear on the surface of the tire after vulcanization. Based on the analysis of the wear, the wear model was established. According to the wear model and the finite element simulation of the computer, flash of the tire is mainly caused by the loss of the mold pre loading. For TBR mold 1188 shell, the mold works about 8000 times, the wear of the sliding plate will lead to the loss of mold preload. |
