Abstract: |
In this paper, the new materials was used for plastic tires with wheel spokes to achieve injection molding and improve the performance of plastic tires. The number of wheel spokes was optimized by numerical simulation by using ABAQUS software, the effect of the number of wheel spokes on mechanical strength, deflection and contact area was studied. It showed that the material could meet the requirements of tire properties. When the number of wheel spokes was thirty, the difference between two positions was relatively low in terms of the maximum stress, the deflection and contact area. The deflection and contact area of thirty spokes tires were 6.8% and 30.7% times higher than those of pneumatic tire, respectively. |
