| Abstract: |
| In this paper, the development of tire curing process and equipment at home and abroad are reviewed. In our country, the development process of tire curing press has experienced three stages: vertical tire curing tank, individual tire curing machine and tire shaping curing press as well as the foreign. Hydraulic curing press is the development trend of the tire curing press at the present stage, and it has been widely used abroad. But in our country both of the mechanical curing machine and hydraulic curing press have used. The curing process is also moving in the direction of high efficiency and energy saving, and the heating method has been transited from the steam/hot water curing to nitrogen vulcanization. And in the curing process, it has become a hot research topic about abandoning the use of the capsule or replacing the capsule with rigid structure. |
