Abstract:
      Tire/road contact noise is one of the main sources of the automobile driving noises, commercial vehicle tire noise is generally 2-3 dB higher than that of passenger car’s, so it has great influence on traffic noise. It’s helpful to clarify the source of the tire noise and to reduce it by researching the correlation analysis of velocity-noise、temperature-noise of commercial vehicle tires. Based on the self-developed commercial vehicle tire pass-by noise test platform, a number of sets of commercial vehicle tires with different patterns and sizes are tested on the ISO 10844 road. The tested tires are classified into smooth tire、longitudinal pattern tire、transverse pattern tire and mixed pattern tire. Then the correlation analysis of velocity-noise、temperature-noise is carried out. The results of this paper has important reference value for clarifying the mechanism of commercial vehicle tire noise、controlling commercial vehicle tire noise and optimizing the pattern design of commercial vehicle tires.
