Abstract: |
In this paper the effects of epoxidized natural eucommia gum on physical and mechanical properties of styrene butadiene rubber/silica composite compared with the traditional silica dispersant were studied .The results showed that silica dispersant B-52, FS-79 and epoxidized natural eucommia gum could improve the vulcanization delay caused by silica, reducing Payne effect due to the filler aggregates. And compared with composite modified with silica dispersant B-52, FS-79, the composite modified with epoxidized natural eucommia gum got higher mechanical properties, better abrasion resistance, moderate compression temperature of vulcanized rubber and had a better dynamic mechanical properties. |
