Abstract: |
In this paper,the influence on machining technology and properties of tread compound filled with Carbon nanotubes of all-steel tire were studied. The results shows that the mooney viscosity of mixing rubber was increased obviously after adding MWNTs. Then abrasion resistance, tear strength and hardness were improved substantially. And tensile strength was reduced slightly after adding MWNTs. When adding MWNTs after carbon black in internal mixer and the times of thin-passing was 10 times in open mixing machine, DIN abrasion resistance of the vulcanizates were increased by 37.3% than vulcanizates without carbon nanotubes. DIN abrasion, tensile strength, tear strength and other comprehensive physical and mechanical properties were best after adding the type of GT-300. |
