Abstract: |
Metal feed contained different proportion of metal powder and binder were prepared by mixer mixing, and its flow properties were determined and compared to get optimal feed formula needed for optimum sintering temperature. The result showed that stainless steel feed comprehensive performance is the best, when the content of stainless metal powder in stainless steel feed was 92.6%. Injected specimens test was explored using the optimum feed formula. The results indicated that optimum sintering temperature was 1350 °C, the tensile strength at this sintering temperature was 486.8 MPa. Compared with intervertebral fusion cage using stainless steel with complex geometries, this study would effectively shorten long processing time and reduce costs. |
