Abstract: |
Metal feed contained different proportion of metal powder and binder were prepared by mixer mixing, and its flow properties were determined and compared to get optimal feed formula needed for optimum sintering temperature. The result showed that stainless steel feed comprehensive performance is the best, when the content of stainless metal powder in stainless steel feed was 92.6%. Performance of intervertebral fusion cage with optimum feed formula was tested on precise injection molding machine. Intervertebral fusion cage was injected with different feed temperature, mold temperature and injection pressure, and weight test results and injection time were recorded to get the optimum technological parameters. The result indicated that intervertebral fusion cage performed best when the mold temperature was 50 °C, injection pressure was 70 MPa, feed temperature was 180 °C, four heating section was used for injection temperature, and the temperature of the each section was 180, 175, 170 and 165 °C, respectively. |
