Abstract: |
In this study, chlorinated polyethylene rubber(CM) foam materials were prepared by free foaming method, with azodicarbonamideas as blowing agent. The cellular structure of CM foam materials was observed by stereomicroscope, effects of Al(OH)3, Talc and Sb2O3 on the cell structure , foam density and limiting oxygen index of CM foam materials were investigated, results are as follows: the foam density and limiting oxygen index (LOI) increased with the increase of Al(OH)3 or Talc content, and the cell size decreased and the cell structure become uniform. There is nearly no effect on the cell structure and foam density of CM with increasing of Sb2O3, but the flame retardant performance of CM foam increased significantly with a small amount of Sb2O3. |
