Abstract:
      The paper exploited a fast, efficient, green extraction method of Natural Ecommia ulmoides gum. This method could simplify the extraction process of Eucommia ulmoides and solve many problems in traditional methods, such as the great amount of organic solvant used in the process and the reversed-phase solvent needed to separate Eucommia gum solid from solution.It can also save the extraction cost. In the experiment ,petroleum ether solution , chloroform solution and hot and cold water were used to extract Natural Ecommia ulmoides gum .The extracted Ecommia ulmoides gum was characterized and the result showed that the content of trans-1, 4 -structure reached as high as 99% almost without 1,2-structure and 3,4-structure.What’s more Eucommia ulmoides gumScan crystallize with Single crystal type and the molecular weight of Eucommia ulmoides pretreated by mechanical method was about 30 KDa and relatively narrow polydispersity.
