| Abstract: |
| The effect of mixing technology on the properties of silica filled SSBR or NR compound was experimentally investigated.The results showed that，the compounds prepared by open mill possessed lower Mooney viscosity，while the vulcanizates prepared by internal mixer had higher modulus and tensile strength，better wet skid resistance and lower heat build-up. |
