Abstract: |
The microcrystalline cellulose was used to partly replace silica, and its effect on the properties of SSBR/BR blend was investigated. When the addition level of microcrystalline cellulose was lower than 9 phr in the silica or silica/carbon black filled SSBR/BR compounds, the physical properties of vulcanizates changed little. When the addition level of microcrystalline cellulose exceeded 9 phr,the physical properties of vulcanizates decreased. As the addition level of microcrystalline cellulose increased, the Mooney viscosity of compound decreased, the degree of filler network was lowered,Payne effect was weaker, and the loss factor decreased. |
