Abstract: |
Reinforcement and the co-curing effect of chlorinated polyethylene(CM)by magnesium methacrylate[Mg(MAA)2] were investigated. The results showed that,Mg(MAA)2 was a good secondary curing agent with DCP,and its curing effect on CM was better than that of the secondary curing agent TAIC. Compared with TAIC system, with Mg(MAA)2 system, the vulcanizates possessed higher storage modulus and loss modulus, and lower loss factor(tanδ); the peak of tanδ shifted to low temperature region; the modulus at 300%,tensile strength and elongation at break were better. |
