The application of Moldflow software in the silicone rubber insulator processing was introduced.The viscosity model of silicone rubber material was obtained through numerical fitting of the rheological data.Parameters of the model were added in the personal database of Moldflow MPI 6.1 software to analyze the filling flow of silicone rubber insulator during injection,and then the optimal gate location was chosen according to the stress distribution and clamp force.The scheme of injection process and mold design could be promptly improved,mold design efficiency and quality were effectively improved,and production efficiency was increased by use of Moldflow MPI 6.1 software. |
