| A three-dimensional finite element model of TBR tire was established by use of Abaqus software to simulate crack propagation on carcass ply turn up ends.The strain energy release rate of the crack propagation was calculated by using virtual crack closure technique，and fatigue life was forecasted.The simulation results showed that the tire crack model could be used to describe endurance failure behaviour of the tire bead effectively and predict fatigue life of the tire better. |
