Abstract: |
Ground tire were modified by chlorination,and the influences of solvent,reaction time,reaction temperature and the flow rate of chlorine on chlorination effect,as well as the properties and microstructure of ground tire/PVC blend were investigated.The results showed that the chlorinated efficiency was good under the condition that the solvent was water,the temperature is at 70 ℃ and the flow rate of chlorine is 0.6 g·min-1;and the chlorinated level could be controlled by the reaction time.The stability at high temperature of chlorinated ground tire was declined,the contact angle with water was decreased,while the polarity was increased as compared to those of unmodified ground tire;physical properties of chlorinated ground tire/PVC blend were greatly improved.It was proved by SEM that the interface between chlorinated ground tire and PVC was mistier and without clear gap.Therefore,the compatibility between chlorinated ground tire and PVC was excellent. |
