| Abstract: |
| Attapulgite(AT) was modified by different silane coupling agents，the physical properties of AT filled SBR vulcanizate were experimentally investigated，and the reinforcement mechanism was studied based on bound rubber.The results showed that，the physical properties of AT/SBR composite were improved greatly by using silane coupling agent KH-550，KH-560 and Si69；TGA showed that bound rubber content of AT/SBR composite was increased by adding these silane coupling agents，which indicated that the interaction between AT and SBR matrix was improved；AT modified by silane coupling agent Si69 could partly replace carbon black and silica to be used in SBR compound. |
