Abstract:
      The graft copolymer of EPDM-methyl methacrylate(MMA)-styrene(St)(EPDM-g-MS) was prepared by grafting method in solution.The results showed that when reaction temperature was 80 ℃ and reaction time was 20 h,the optimized preparation condition of EPDM-g-MS was as follows:mass ratio of BPO in reactant(EPDM and MMA-St comonomer) 1%;mass fraction of reactant 0.2;the volume fraction of toluene in solvent(toluene and n-heptane) 0.75;mass ratio of EPDM/MMA-St comonomer 50/50;mass ratio of MMA in MMA-St comonomer 85%.Under this condition,the monomer conversion,graft ratio and graft efficiency were 80.1%,55.1% and 69.5% respectively.
