| The influence of magnesium hydroxide［Mg(OH)2］，aluminium hydroxide［Al(OH)3］ and their blend on physical properties and flame retardance of monocomponent RTV silicone rubber(RTV-1) was experimentally investigated.The results showed that the hardness，tensile strength and oxygen index(OI) of RTV-1 increased as the addition level of Mg(OH)2 increased，but the elongation at break decreased，and RTV-1 became flame-retarded when 50 phr Mg(OH)2 was used；the hardness，tensile strength and OI of RTV-1 filled by Al(OH)3 were higher than those filled by Mg(OH)2 in the same content，respectively，and RTV-1 was flame-retarded when 40 phr Al(OH)3 was added；when the addition level of Mg(OH)2/Al(OH)3 was 30 phr，RTV-1 became flame-retarded，and the optimum mass ratio of Mg(OH)2/Al(OH)3 was 1∶4. |
