| A DMC(a short fibre/unsaturated polyester composite)-reinforced EPDM/MVQ blend was prepared and its physical properties and aging properties were investigated.The results showed that the DMC-reinforced EPDM/MVQ blend combined the advantages of EPDM/MVQ with those of DMC，and possessed much higher Shore A hardness and tensile strength，and better thermal aging properties.The optimized formula of DMC-reinforced EPDM/MVQ blend was as follows：EPDM 25，MVQ 75，DMC 80，silica 40，ZnO 5，antioxidantD 1，curing agent DCP 6，accelerator DM 0.8. |
