Abstract:
      The effects of the unmodified montmorillonite,CR latex modified montmorillonite and intercalator-modified montmorillonite on the properties of conductive flame-retardant conveyor belt were investigated.The results showed that the flame-retardance of belt compound improved by adding montmorillonite;the modified montmorillonites were better than unmodified montmorillonite in terms of the tensile strength,flame-retardance and conductivity of compound;and the intercalator-modified montmorillonite was more effective than CR latex-modified montmorillonite to improve the properties of belt compound.
