Abstract:
      The 3D simulation and analysis of the pressure distribution in the flow channel of the screw die for producing wide rubber sheet were made with ANSYS FEA software.A 3D model of the flow channel in the screw die was established by selecting the network devided with Fluid 1423D hexahexahedron units to obtain the pressure profile in the flow channel of screw die under certain working conditions.The effect of the geometry of damping block on the pressure distribution was analysed.It was found that the flow resistance at the places in the flow channel,where the speed and pressure were higher,could be increased by the damping block;and the pressure of extruded compound became more uniform in the lateral direction by selecting the proper height of damping block.
