Abstract: |
The mechanical constants of rubber Mooney-Rivlin model C1 and C2 were determined with nonlinear FEA and axial compression test. The procedure for determining C1 and C2 was as follows:the sum of C1 and C2 was calculated from the hardness of rubber material at first;then the compressive stress-strain curve of rubber material with different C2/C1 was simulated by non-linear FEA and compared to the measured curve;C2/C1,with which the simulated curve was well fitted to the measured one,was the real C2/C1 of rubber material, and thus C1 and C2 were further determined from the real C2/C1. |
