Abstract: |
The mechanism of devulcanizing waste rubber by De-link and ethylene amine is described. Two reactions may be involved in the devulcanization by De-link:a)under certain conditions,a H- is given from the isobreak of C—H adjacent to the polysulfide bonds to form a cyclic persulphonium ion;b)the double bond in the vulcanizate is polarized by Zn2+,which generates induction, resulting in the shift of double bond location, the replacement or rearrangement of crosslinking site, and the transfer of proton. The possible reaction in the modification with ethylene amine is discussed based on the theory of electronic induction. |
