Abstract:
      By means of MARC software,a 3D FEA model of tire was built up based on the actural structure of 9.00-20 cross-ply tire and taking the material nonlinearity,the geometric nonlinearity and the anisotropy of cord /rubber composite into account.The stress distribution at the different parts of tire during inflation was analysed ,and the effect of the cord angle at crown βK on the inflated cross-sectional width B′ and the inflated overall diameter D′was discussed.The B′and D′values calculated by the model agreed well with the measured results.
