Abstract: |
The effects of modification on the molecular weight(Mw) and the molecular weight distribution(MWD), as well as the microst ructure of tin-coupled SSBR and ESBR were investigated. The results showed that during the mastication , the decreasing velocity of Mw for both SSBR and ESBR depended on their initial Mw, and there was a lower limit for their Mw;the bipeaks shifted to single peak in the SSBR MWD curve and the MWD became more narrow;the main chains of both SSBR and ESBR broke down to give off the peroxy radicals;and the mechanochemical stability of SSBR was superior to that of ESBR. |
