Abstract:
      A series studies were made on the basic and practical properties of oil-extended Ni-BRs and the oil-extended Ni-BR(OEBR) from Qilu Petrochemical Co.was compared to the oil-extended Ni-BR(BR31) and the oil-extended Co-BR(BR1441) from Japan.The results showed that the microstructure and processibility of three BRs were similar;OEBR featured higher molecular weight,lower gel content and less branching;the tensile strength,fatigue properties,resilience and heat build-up of OEBR were better than those of BR31 and similar to those of BR1441;the wet skid resistance of OEBR was similar to that of BR31 and BR1441,but its rolling resistance was lower than that of BR1441 and much lower than that of BR31.OEBR gave similar processibility,tensile strength and wear resistance,better dynamic modulus,wet skid resistance,traction,ozone resistance and heat build-up,but poor fatigue properties when compared to nonoil-extended Ni-BR from China.
