| Abstract: |
| The influence of the level of emulsion PVC，suspension PVC and adhesive，the type of flame retardant plasticizer and the cotton content in carcass on the adhesion strength of flame retardant rubber/plastics solid-woven conveyor belt was investigated. The results showed that 20～25 phr of emulsion PVC could replace the equivelent proportion of NBR in CR/NBR/CPE（40/40/20）blend and 40～60 phr of suspension PVC cound replace the equivelent proportion of NBR in NBR-based compound for belt cover；it was the most suitable to use ZRS-50/DOP/42% chlorinated paraffin as the plasticizer in the dipping solution；the adhesion strength increased with the addition of 1.5～2.5 phr of adhesive A to cover compound；and it was reasonable to use the carcass with 30%～ 40% cotton content. |
