Abstract: |
The cure characteristics of the DZ/CZ binary accelerator system was studied with reference to its combination ratio and concentration,and the possibility to use the system to substitute the accelerator NOBS was discussed. The results show that in the binary system the accelerators DZ and CZ only have the complementary effects. CZ behaves better than DZ both in crosslink density and efficiency,bringing about a change in the characteristic curve for the binary system with a point moved forward to approx. 1.0:O.5 of the combination ratio. A fixed DZ/CZ ratio gives a cure curve intersecting at only one point with NOBS,thus a binary system of a variable combination ratio will be in effect similar to NOBS. 1n substitution of a binary system of a variable combination ratio for NOBS of the same amount. a conversion formula is given:[DZ]/[CZ]=1/k[NOBS]. |
