This paper introduced the establishment of mathematical model of tread winding machine in building machines of Off-The-Road radial tire and its structure design.The determination of the running track of the winding head，the synchronization of the linear velocity of the winding position of the tire blank generatrix and the linear velocity of the extruder discharge were discussed.The results showed that the winding machine and program software designed according to the research results met the application requirements and the working efficiency of the building machines was improved.
