| The waste food oil was modified and applied in natural rubber (NR) as a plasticizer. The influence of waste oil on the properties of NR was investigated， and compared with soybean oil， Coumarone resin and regular oil. The plasticizing effect of waste oil was better than that of coumarone and regular oil， and was very close to soybean oil. Its plasticizing mechanism was in line with the reactivity plasticizing mechanism. The physical properties of waste oil filled NR was similar as soybean oil filled NR. Compared with Coumarone resin and regular oil， the hardness of NR filled with waste oil was lower， the tensile strength and elongation at break are higher， and the abrasion loss was smaller. The experimental results showed that the optimized addition level of waste oil was 4 phr. |
