| This article introduces the development of D type cover rubber for steel cord conveyor belt. The blend of natural rubber/butadiene rubber was used as the polymer resin. Reinforcing filler was carbon black N220， the curing system used low sulfur but high accelerator contents， and the antioxidant package included antioxidant 4010NA ， antioxidant RD and microcrystalline wax. The cover rubber showed excellent abrasion resistance， and could significantly extend the service life of conveyor belt. |
