| A new formula is developed for calculating the rated transmission power of V-belt by defining the correction factors（i.e.length factor KL，velocity factor Kv，expected service life factor Kh，speed ratio factor Ki，and contact angle factor Ka）and the design constants Ca，Cb，Cc，based on the basic formula to overcome the drawback with the conventional calculating method. The method is introduced for determining Ca，Cb，and Cc，and for calculating Ki.The table for calculating the design constants and correction factors，as well as the calculation example are also provided. |
