To obtain a correct FEA model of tire structure,attention should be paid to the following problems:exactly describe and correctly input the material characteristics of rubber or rubber/cord composite;simulate the large deformation and contact area of tire with reasonable units;use 3D solid unit model and fine network near ground-contact area to predict the local mechanical behaviour of tire. |
