The passenger car radial tire with preformed tread was compared to that with conventional tread. The results showed that for preformed t read tire ,the flow of tread stock during vulcanization was cont rolled and a more uniform dist ribution of the stock was obtained across thetire resulting in a significant decrease of the dynamic unbalance of the finished tire. |
