Bio-based liquid disproportionated rosin was used as a substitute for rosin in the tread compound of off-the-road(OTR) tires,and its application effect was studied.The results showed that using bio-based liquid disproportionated rosin instead of rosin reduced the number of mixing stages,energy consumption and mixing costs.The tensile properties,tear strength and aging resistance of the compound was improved.The road test performances of the corresponding test tires was equivalent to those of normal tires. |
