| The principle of measuring tire noise by calculating the sound power with the mesured sound energy was described. A relative measurement of t read pattern noise suitable for site test was proposed and used to optimize the tread pattern designs.The measured noises of different kinds of tread patterns at different running speeds were given and discussed. |
