The research progress on the application and modification methods of pyrolysis carbon black from waste tires was introduced.The waste tire pyrolysis carbon black could be used in fields such as rubber reinforcement,ink,asphalt,activated carbon and electrode materials,but its application range was limited due to its high ash content,poor dispersibility and poor compatibility with rubber.The modification methods of pyrolysis carbon black included acid washing,coupling agent modification and composite modification.Finding new modification methods to reduce the ash content of pyrolysis carbon black,improve its surface activity and enhance its dispersibility in rubber will be the research focus in the future. |
